It's October and we are STILL waiting. If you know of a pregnant teanager that may want to give up thier baby for adoption, PLEASE contact us.
Well it's April (almost May) and still no word. Angie and I have decided to start looking domestically as well. We like the idea of helping a child in need from a third work country, but at the same time there are many wonderful children right here in America that need a good home as well. If you know of anyone wanting to give thier precious child up for adoption please let us know. We would love to work out an open adoption.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! We heard from our adoption agency and there is still no news on when we will travel to Russia. They think they will have a couple referrals in Jan so keep your fingers crossed for us!! Many of our friends have offered to help buy some of the gifts we have to take with us - THANK YOU SO MUCH!. If anyone else wants to help I will post a list of the items we have to take as soon as we get the updated copy from our agency.
We are still waiting and have not been told anything at this point other than to be patient. We know we are next in line with our agency for a little girl or little boy ...but who knows. That might mean we travel next week or 4 months from now. Argh - the wait is starting to get to us.
More good news. The US Immigrations services cleared us for travel and we recieved word our paper work was hand delivered to Russia!!
We are in the waiting process, having already completed all our paper work, and have our fingers crossed waiting to recieve word from the Russian courts in Saint Petersburg that we will be traveling soon. We are very excited and very nervous. The entire process is very long, stressfull, and full of surprises as the Russian courts change there rules a few times a year.
Keep us in your prayers and if you here of a single mother looking for a family to adopt her percious baby, Angie and I would love to hear about it. We have always wanted a family and would ideialy like to have two or three children, but we will be happy however God decided to bless us.
